選竹作業
Moso Bamboo SelectionStep 1. 選擇4~6年生成熟孟宗竹砍下
Step 2. 將竹子先分別切割出頭段，中段，尾段各別處理，其中中段部分為主要竹炭材料。分割後，先放置七天乾燥。
Step 3. 中段竹材再經過割成一公尺長，再對剖兩次。切割好的竹片綑綁成束，再經過七天自然乾燥。
Step 4. 竹炭材排列後送進窯中，以頭朝上尾朝下方式排列，準備高溫炭化業。
Step 1.
Select and cut the 4-6 years growth Moso bamboo.
Step 2.
Separate and process the bamboo into three parts respectively, including heading part, middle part and bottom part. For the middle part of the bamboo, they are the main composition during processing. They need to air dry for 7 days after they have been cut.
Step 3.
Cut the middle part of the bamboo into 1 meter length first, then divide them into two pieces and bundle. Dry them for 7 days afterwards.
Step 4.
Arrange and send them to the kiln, with the head up and tail down sequence during the carbonization process.
